West Highland Way curveball

This coming weekend Anya and I should be crewing for our pal, Tim Darlow along with his wife Kate as he takes on the West Highland Way Race. Unfortunately I was caught by a late curveball and can no longer support. I’m really gutted about this, not least because it was going to be a great adventure amongst many like minded individuals and would also provide opportunities for some trail running in a beautiful part of the world but also because Tim has put so much into this over recent months and I don't want to let him down.

His preparation seems to have gone well, he’s lean, fit and strong both physically and mentally. More than capable of getting his goblet and having a “fun” time along the way (no pressure then Timbo).

I’m envious and proud at the same time that he’s getting it done.

I hope those that make it to the start line also make it to the finish line and that getting there provides an unforgettable experience for all the right reasons.

I’ll be watching!
